Student Safeguarding and Child Protection Framework
At Moreton Bay Boys’ College (MBBC), we have the profound responsibility and privilege of educating boys and young men, and supporting their learning and development as they go into the world.
We know the schools can be a place of great influence and meaning for students and their families and carers and that our staff and volunteers can be trusted adults for children and young people. We also know that a great deal of trust is placed in us to work with students in safety and that there is a risk to students due to their contact with any organisation – from peers, staff and volunteers.
At MBBC, we want students to feel like school is a safe place, where they are safe in their learning environments, where they can trust us and where they can come to us if they have any concerns. We are deeply committed to provide safe environments for our students.
