Pre-Prep

Pre-Prep

The Pre-Prep Programme is a full-time, co-educational, Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Programme based at Moreton Bay College. It offers the magic of early learning through purposeful inquiry and a caring and supportive community for families. Pre-Prep is a stepping stone to Prep at either Moreton Bay Boys’ College or Moreton Bay College. Whilst the Moreton Bay Colleges will continue to be leaders in single-sex education from Prep to Year 12; a mixed-gender model for Pre-Prep is best practice for children aged 3 to 4.

Year 5

Year 5

He will benefit from the inquiry-based learning framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). This programme teaches boys to understand themselves as learners and how to challenge themselves to take action to maximize learning opportunities.

Year 7

Year 7

Starting at Moreton Bay Boys’ College in Year 7 is common for many of our students. The Middle Years curriculum (Years 7 to 10)  is delivered through the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). The MYP aims to develop students who are active learners, internationally minded, able to empathise with others, and who have the intellect and skills to pursue lives of purpose and meaning. It provides core learning enhanced by a wide variety of subjects designed to broaden the experiences of the boys, and encourages students to make practical connections between their classroom learning and the real world.
