Your son's smooth transition to our college is important to us. Please find below some essential information to assist your son to prepare for joining MBBC in 2023.

Below you will find documents and information pertaining to the relevant area of the college that your son will join in 2023. These will be updated as necessary with any new information when released.

Tuition Fees - please note that MBBC 2023 Tuition Fees will be available shortly, here

Uniforms All new families are invited to make an appointment for a uniform fitting. Please contact the Uniform Shop to arrange. Visit the Uniform Shop page for uniform lists, contact details and opening hours. 

Booklist Booklists of all years are available to view and download on our website here. Our stationary supplier is School and Office Supplies (SOS) and their contact details and ordering instructions are on each booklist.

Communications

myMBBC 
myMBBC is our online portal for parents, allowing access to information such as Handbooks, Policies, Event Calendars and much more. myMBBC is available to access via the MBBC homepage, at https://www.mbbc.qld.edu.au/my...  To access this portal, parents will be required to log in using their parent code - these details will be sent to you in early 2023. 

MBBC App 
The Moreton Bay Boys' College app is the most convenient way for parents and caregivers to access information about events and daily activities at the school. The information on the app is always up to date and can be tailored to provide you with alerts and information specific to your child’s Year Group and Co-Curricular activities. Please download the app by January 2023 as some correspondence will be sent via this app before the start of the school term.  The App User Guide can be found here.

Parent Lounge  
Parent Lounge allows you access to your child’s details kept on our administration system including personal details, absence information, medical information, academic information, and the email addresses of their teachers. It also lets you keep your contact details up-to-date and allows parents to book into and pay for activities and events. Access to Parent Lounge is via myMBBC or the MBBC App and requires to log in using their parent code - these details will be sent to you in early 2023.

Moreton Bay Colleges Music Programme 2023

Please follow this link to our Co-curricular Music Handbook. It explains the music programme in detail, particularly in respect to ensembles, rehearsal times, and audition processes. It also contains information for individual tuition.

Individual Music Tuition

Parents of new students to the Colleges should complete the online enrolment form if they would like to enrol their son for private instrumental or vocal lessons. If you have any questions or concerns, please email: music@moretonbaycolleges.qld.edu.au 

Auditions

Auditions for new students to the Colleges in 2023 will be held in the first week of Term 1, 2023. Please email: music@moretonbaycolleges.qld.edu.au with the following information if you would like to register your son for entry into ensembles:

Further details regarding auditions will then be sent to registered families prior to the start of Term 1 2023.  

Please note that the following choirs do not require an audition: MBBC Training Choir (Year 1 & Year 2 students), MBBC Primary Choir (Year 3 to Year 6 students). You should however still register for these groups by emailing the music department.

Immersion Programme (Years 4 & 5)

Instrument selection for all students joining Years 4 or 5 in 2023 will occur during the first weeks of Term 1.
